The Lemon & Basil Mediterraneo Cocktail

With just a few sips, this light and refreshing olive oil cocktail will transport you to the coast of Italy!

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 ozs Gin
• 1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  
• ¼ oz Gran Cru de la Luna Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1 egg white pasteurized
• ½ oz simple syrup
• 1 leaf fresh Basil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Add olive oil and egg white to shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, about a minute, until the mixture is frothy and the olive oil is fully emulsified.
2. Then pour gin, simple syrup, and lemon juice into the shaker.
3. Shake once again with ice, until frothy.
4. Strain into glass and garnish with Basil leaf.
