Mummy Garlic Breadsticks

These spooky snacks are soft, golden breadsticks wrapped in crispy dough “bandages” and brushed with vomFASS Garlic Herb Oil.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 tbsp vomFASS Garlic Herb Oil
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp sliced black olives, for the eyes
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting
  • Marinara sauce, for serving

DIRECTIONS:

  1. PREHEAT THE OVEN: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. PREPARE THE DOUGH: On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 10 × 8 inches. Cut the dough lengthwise into 8 strips. Set aside about one-third of the strips to use as the mummy bandages.
  3. SHAPE THE BREADSTICKS: Roll the remaining dough strips gently into long breadstick shapes, approximately 6 inches long. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  4. ADD THE GARLIC HERB OIL: Brush the breadsticks lightly with vomFASS Garlic Herb Oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
  5. WRAP THE MUMMIES: Cut the reserved dough into thinner strips. Wrap them irregularly around each breadstick, crossing the strips to resemble mummy bandages. Leave a small gap near the top for the eyes, and tuck the ends underneath each breadstick.
  6. BAKE: Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the dough is cooked through and lightly golden. Check the thinner dough strips early, as they may brown faster.
  7. ADD THE EYES: Allow the breadsticks to cool slightly. Place two small pieces of sliced black olive in the open space on each mummy to create eyes.
  8. SERVE: Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
