Orange Olive Oil Caramel

Whisk Orange Olive Oil with maple syrup and you'll get a sweet and glossy healthy topping for your desserts.
INGREDIENTS:
- β cup Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- β cup cold maple syrup or agave
- Pink Crystal Salt
DIRECTIONS:
- In a medium bowl, combine olive oil with maple syrup or agave and optionally a grind or two of the Pink Crystal Salt. Whisk well for about 3 minutes, until the mixture emulsifies and reaches a thick texture.
- Serve olive oil caramel immediately, or place in a mason jar and store in the refrigerator for a maximum of 7 days. Before serving, whisk the sauce to reestablish the original texture.
