Irish Apple Cake

Lots of tart, crisp apples create a super moist cake with a nice crunchy top. Serve warm or cold, and with a side of your favorite vomFASS Irish Whiskey!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tbs FassZination Walnut Oil
- 2 tbs butter (or Sun Meadow RapeSeed Oil)
- 1 cup sweetener of choice
- 1 egg
- 4 apples (we prefer Granny Smith), cored, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup All purpose flour
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 330F. Generously grease an 8inch x 8inch baking pan.
- In a large baking bowl, mix the butter and sugar until creamy. Add all the other ingredients and vomFASS Walnut Oil to a bowl, mix well.
- Pour the batter into the baking tin and bake for 45 minutes or until the cake is golden brown.
