Our W-Omega 3-6-9 Power Mix is a very carefully compiled mixture of eight exquisite and high-quality vegetable oils: hemp oil, hazelnut oil, linseed oil, cedar nut oil, grape seed oil, rapeseed oil, wheat germ oil and borage oil. Borage oil contributes to the high proportion of gamma-linolenic acid (about 5%). The development of this exclusive oil mixture was carried out from a nutritional point of view in order to make the right intake of essential fatty acids as easy as possible. Thus, each of the selected oils brings its special, valuable properties into this oil mixture.

Fats are not only an important source of energy for our organism, some fatty acids, the so-called polyunsaturated fatty acids, are even vital components of a healthy diet. Two polyunsaturated fatty acids, the linoleic acid (an omega 6 fatty acid) and the alpha-linolenic acid (an omega 3-fatty acid) are among the essential nutrients. This cannot be made by our body itself, so that it must be supplied via nutrition. Since all fats consist of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, it is not possible to make a blanket judgment about fats - but the right mixture does it. This applies both to the proportion of fats to energy suppliers and to the proportion of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids within the daily fat intake. In order for the body to properly process the essential omega 3 fatty acids, the "right" ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids is also important. It is recommended to absorb at most five times as many omega 6 fatty acids as omega 3 fatty acids.
